Kinesiology Taping

Kinesiology Tape is strong and thin stretchy tape that sticks to the skin and has a wide variety of uses for sports injuries and posture correction. Increasingly, professional athletes are using kinesiology tape to improve their performance and to help prevent injuries. The tape is great to help muscle injuries recover and increases blood flow to the area which promotes healing.

The tape can be worn for up to five days but some of my clients like to remove the tape after about two days or when it becomes a little itchy. It’s fine to have a shower etc as it is water resistant. I also have tape that is ideal for swimmers. I use Rock Tape as I have found it to be the best (also the most expensive). In cases where I consider taping may be helpful, I will discuss this with the client and they can decide whether to have it applied.

I have decided to include any taping in the cost of the treatment, provided it is applied within the booked timescales of my treatments i.e. 30, 60 or 80min session. If applied after the booked treatment duration an additional charge will be applied.
